The charm of Port Moody rests in its small-town feel. hue is set in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Moody Centre.
Separated from the adjacent urban fabric by natural forest, hue’s design expression is a playful exploration of light, colour, and art. Both clear and coloured glass balconies are playfully arranged. The base is rendered in masonry contrasting with corrugated metal cladding of the upper residential levels.
Conceived by local artist, Alex Morrison, the public art feature “This Old House” features a wall-mounted lattice work of steel and colourful acrylic elements located within the recess on the north elevation of the East Building at the corner of Albert Street and St. Johns Streets.
